James Hall is Director of Student, Family, and Community Engagement for the Lassen County Office of Education. He has been with the Office of Education for the past 27 years. He has served in a variety of Leadership roles in statewide and community organizations. James currently serves as a school board trustee, Pastor of a local church, and co-chair of the California AfterSchool Network Leadership Team. He has a deep passion for seeing and supporting people to embrace who they are and use their talents, gifts, and abilities to assist the community.

This fall, James will be completing dual degrees in Organizational Management Project Management and Christian Leadership. He will then be starting a Master’s Degree in Social and Emotional Learning. James enjoys spending time with his wife of 20 years, three teenage children, and adorable basset hound Mazy in his spare time.
